THE SONG OF ROSE IN THE LAND OF DESPERADOS

A young boy takes seven steps and
Sticks out his chest.
He says, "No one above, no one below
Is gonna steal my show.
I'm a motherfuckin' cowboy and a Viking King
Man in this world I can do anything!
I'm a Rock-n-Roll Astronaut and I'm ready For war...hey...come on...ya lookin for a War!"

...a Buddha, now on a Crusade,
He closes his eyes and
Waits for the sign

His wings begin to melt and then

Then from a thousand miles she heard That voice only daughters can know:

"Rose, I'm coming home!
